To download and Install OOMMF you will need administrative rights
on the computer you plan to use. First install Active TCL with all
the defaults. It is a fairly straightforward installation, just hit
next until it is done. Then unzip OOMMF to the oommf directory
preferably in the root of your C or D drive. Then run the following
command from the command line in the OOMMF directory:
tclsh84 oommf.tcl pimake upgrade
You may then launch OOMMF by typing tclsh84 oommf.tcl or by clicking
on oommf.tcl from within windows. You will have to create a shortcut,
if you want one, the program doesn't make one for you.

IF you have any problems feel free to e-mail Jason Foster : jfoster
at mint dot ua dot edu.
